We talk about positive thinking so much. Many of us believe that positive thoughts create positive results. Still many people underestimate the power of Positive thinking. Today we will experiment with the power of these thoughts. What do you say? All right, you seem happy with that.
First, let us accept that each of us has a different mindset. Therefore, what works for one is not necessary that it will work for others as well. It is my belief that Positive thinking works for most of us, if not for all. What do you believe?
Now without taking much time we will start the experiment. Do not worry. It will be very simple practice. We will think about the one current major trouble of your life. Find a peaceful place if you can.
Let us start Realization:
- Close your eyes.
- Empty your mind.
- Now focus on the one problem.
- Say, “I can do it”.
- Feel the potential inside of you.
- Say again, “I can do it”.
- Instantly a light will pass in front of your closed eyes and you will feel good.
- Just experience your thoughts. Your mind starts finding the possible options to fix the problem.
This is what I call, “Instant Realization of the Power of Positive Thoughts”. When I practice, I always found an instant light reflection when say, “I can do it”.
Whenever we say something positive, our one positive thought create a chain of more positive thoughts. This process leads our focus to the solutions rather than problems. This is the power of positive thoughts. I believe you can feel them too.
“We become what we think about”
Earl Nightingale
When I practice the same with, “I cannot do it” and there was a sense of darkness for a moment. This is the reflection of negative thoughts. I can feel the reflections of these thoughts very clear. If you did not, it is all right. I cannot help if you have shut all the doors of the heart.
Do you feed depressed when any trouble comes? Do you want to change that pattern? Do you want to think positive when things are not going well?
Remember: It is always your choice to choose the quality of your thoughts. It is about practice. Try to practice positive thinking in the daily life. Look at each problem in a positive way. Positive thoughts bring positive actions. Positive actions bring positive results.
No matter what the problem is, realize the power of positivity. Close your eyes and say, “I can do it”. That is all. Your mind will start finding the possible solutions. You worry start fading. Thoughts are much more powerful than what you think.
Look at the people around you. You will find some people always stay positive and happy. Learn from them. It is not that they do not have problems in life. Nevertheless, they know that if there is a lock, there will be a key too.
You will also find some people always think negative. They always see the glass half empty. They see the negative aspects and never able to cope up with life troubles. Do not be one of them. I have a tool to test whether you are a positive thinker or not.
Min-Max Impact Tool:
I have studied some people and discovered a Min-Max Impact Tool to analyze the people mindset.
Whenever people encounter a problem in life, they have some options. They have to decide which one can be best solution. The selection of option directly depends on the quality of their thoughts.
People with negative thoughts calculate the negative impact of all the options. Then they choose the option with minimum negative impact as a solution. They fear going outside their comfort zone.
People with positive thinking see the options as an opportunity to grab the best possible solution. They see the positive impact of all the available options and choose the one with maximum positive impact. This results in a huge difference in the results.
Whenever you encounter yourself in a problem in life, analyze your thoughts with Min-Max Impact Tool and see how positive you are.
“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.”
