I have seen many of college graduates try to get job in their respective industry. However, after trying 3 to 6 months if they do not get through, they give up. They tell everyone that there are not enough jobs right now. Rather I will say that there is not enough passion in them right now.
Sometimes, a stranger can give us an unforgettable life lesson. I would like to share a story of a passionate Young boy who met me on the bus.
Here, the story unfolds:
Yesterday, I was waiting for the bus to my office in Delhi. A young boy came to me with an address and asked which bus will go to his desired place. I looked at him. He seems to be poor and new to the city. His destination was near my office. Therefore, I told him about the right bus and we both took seats next to each other.
As it was going to be journey about 45 minutes, we both started conversation to know about each other. First, he asked me about my job. I told him that I am a Software Engineer. He has not been much aware of the title “Software Engineer” but he knows that I work in the computer industry. He seems too curious and asked me that what I exactly do on computers. I can see that he was not familiar with the technical terms of the IT/Computers but I tried to make him understand as more as possible.
Now it was my turn to ask what he makes his living. He told me that he is searching for the job. He is from a small village and came in Delhi just two weeks back. His education was not that good. He has just done intermediate (below graduation).
What that young boy wanted to do?
I asked about what kind of job he wants to do. It was amazed to hear that he wants to do job in computers. He do not even knows how to operate but still want to pursue in a computer job. He asked me about the options he has to work in this field. I told him briefly in as an easy language as possible.
I came to know that he was not looking for just any job in computers. For example, I told him he could learn about computer hardware parts and search for a computer-repairing job. He denied it and said that he want to learn the use of computer software and how to operate them.
If your willingness is great, your difficulties cannot be great:
I told the young boy that this is not easy to get a job he wants, as he does not have good educational background.
He said, “I know this is not easy, but I have decided that this is what I want. A few months back, I used to afraid of the computer because I thought that without English I could not learn computer. My English is not good. Now I am here in the Capital of India, a far from my small village. I am here just because I want to fight my fears. I want to set an example for the people of my village. They are full of fear about the technology. But If I can do it, they can do it too.”
He continued, “Whatever it will take, I will do. I will start from small but will not sit idle. I am searching various institutes around the city that offer various short-term courses on different computer subjects/tools. I am just examining the right dimension.”
I believe that soon he will get what he wants.

You can take it as a simple story about an aspiring young boy or learn a lesson about the life.

Today, most of people lack of self-esteem. They belong to metro cities and they have good education. Just because they did not succeed yet, they mark themselves as a failure.
Remember: Failure is only when you give-up. Stand up. It may take time, but keep going. Never let your dreams die inside of you. Do not look at the time that you have wasted. You can do it, as you are still alive.
