What is Karma?
Karma is the law of spirituality. It teaches that our destiny shaped by our karma. Each of our thoughts, words and actions are our karma that creates our destiny.
Do you believe in Karma?
Do you believe in Karma? Some believe while some not. I believe in it. I believe that I can change my future by “what I do” in the present.
Yesterday, I happened to be at the event: “Why Me – Destiny or Karma?” There was a beautiful session by BK Shivani, which made my vision more clear about the Karma.
I used to believe that only “what we do” is our karma. No. Each of our words and even each of our thoughts is also part of our karma. Whether we aware or not, “The Law of Karma” works for us all the time.
Who is responsible for your life?
Sometimes we think that God is responsible for everything in our life. No. You are one who is responsible for whatever you are. Your current situation is because of your past karma.
How do you feel when we say that we are responsible for what we are? It should be a feel good feeling.
Why? Because if we are responsible, we also have the power to change it. We can change our destiny by our karma. Suppose things are not going well in our life. We simply say that it is written in our destiny, so what can we do.
BK Shivani said it very beautifully, “Tell me one thing; if you were supposed to be God, what would you write for everyone?” We always see God as our father. So what kind of fortune a father can write for a son.
If whatever we are because of God, we all supposed to be perfect. Our life should be full of peace and joy. Is it? No. What does it prove?
“God does not write our fate but give us power to create our fate.”
BK Shivani
You Create your Destiny by your Karma:
Yes. You have the power to choose. You have the power to change. You have the power to become whatever you want. You create your destiny.
God can help us, but he will not do everything for us. God can show us the way but we have to take a step towards the destination. It is our life journey. We have to do it ourselves and some of us do it wonderfully. Learn from them.
“As you sow, so shall you reap.”
The Law of Karma:
“Spirituality teaches me to see my responsibility and what causes I am setting in motion by my thoughts, words and actions. I just have to fulfill my responsibilities and the rights will automatically follow, because they are the effect. This may not happen immediately, but it is inevitable. The law of cause and effect, action and reaction, the law of karma is an integral part of spirituality. It gives us a basis on which to make right choices and create a beautiful future for ourselves and the world around us”
