Once upon a time, a friend of mine come to me after giving her college exam. I asked how it went. She said it was all right. She attended almost all the questions well and sure to get 80% marks. I told her that 80% is too much to get over here. It is very rare to touch that score in that college. I told her to have a safe side and expect 70%, so that she would not get hurt when the result comes. She said, “But why you limit yourself to less, when you know you deserve more. If today I will limit my expectation, I will be satisfied with what I get. So even if I deserve more than that, I would not try to figure out what went wrong. If I will doubt myself, then how can someone else believe in me.”
I was totally convinced by her answer. I realized that most of the time we fear to express our expectations, because we doubt our-self. Even if we know that we have done enough hard work to achieve something, we fear to say in-front of others. We fear that if we don’t get it, we will be criticized. So we already limit our-self (in our mind) to less than what we deserve.

Always believe in yourself. If you know exactly what you deserve, never stand for the less. It is always more important what you think than what others think. So Raise Your Expectations, If you Deserve More.
I will take an another example, Suppose you have participated in any event and you know you were far better than all others. Still if someone ask what rank do you think you will get. You know you deserve first rank, you keep saying “I will get at least second”. Why second? Hope for the first.
You should have heard about “The law of attraction”. Whatever we start believing, it starts happening around us. So set yourself for the best you can deserve. Expect the results you deserve.

Here are few steps, How to Expect what you Deserve:
- Believe that there is nothing a human can not achieve.
- Set your goal and Give your mind enough reason why you deserve that.
- Make plans. Do what you need to do to get there.
- Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. But don’t be satisfied until you get what you deserve.
