Express Notepad is a free Chrome extension for taking notes in your browser toolbar. This page explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.
Data We Collect
We collect nothing.
Express Notepad does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data is stored locally on your device and never leaves your browser.
The extension saves the following to your device only:
- Your note content and titles
- Your active note preference
- Sidebar open/closed state
Permissions Used
The extension requests only one Chrome permission:
- storage – used solely to save and restore your notes on your device
Third-Party Services
Express Notepad does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. No third-party services are integrated.
Data Deletion
Uninstalling the extension permanently removes all stored notes and preferences from your device.
