“The best way to escape from a problem is to solve it.”
Brendan Francis.
You should have heard people saying “life is not easy”. Yeah right, but if it would be easy where should be all the fun. Life is all about dealing with all the things simultaneously and still enjoying it.
We all stuck with the things in our daily life. Sometimes it is difficult time in office while sometimes at home as well. When things go out of control for some time, we think we should leave all this and get away from it.
Sometimes tough times last so long that we hate our life. We face challenges day by day. We think about the saints and pilgrims that they must be having better life than us. We imagine ourselves as pilgrims and moving to Himalayas some day. We imagine it as a living a Spiritual life. But this not the solution, it is just running away from problem.
To live spiritual life we do not have to drop everything and live like a saint. But we have to stay where we are and to do better there each day and never forgetting the god. No matter where you will go, sometimes things will be easy and sometimes it will be difficult. Running away from problem will only increase distance from its solution.
“A clever person solves a problem. A wise person avoids it.”
Albert Einstein
Take every challenge in your daily life as an opportunity to grow. If you do not believe me, remind yourself any situation in the past where things were very tough, but you get them through. It certainly made you stronger. It surely gave you some qualities which otherwise you do not posses.
Whenever you see some problem, just imagine the end result. Think how much you grow yourself once you have done it.
I have seen that sometimes we even do not have choice to do and have to do it. We irritate doing same things again and again everyday. Why don’t do better each time and you will enjoy doing it. Remember: There is always a better way.
Most of the time when we solve problem at one place, we develop a quality to solve similar problems in other places as well.
Here are some problems in our daily life where our growth resides:
- Do you have conflict with your colleagues in office?
Work on it. If you can resolve here in office, you can resolve it in your daily life as well whenever you encounter.
- Do you limit yourself when thinking about the solution?
See the problem from different prospective. Do not fear failure, it will teach you lesson. But do not repeat same mistakes and keep learning.
- Do you fear public speaking?
If you fear public speaking, chances are you will fear providing your opinion when approaching with your family gets together. Work for one place and you will get better at other too.
- Do you fear initiating?
Never miss the chance to initiate. It is better to seem like a fool sometimes rather than missing providing a sound idea/solution.
- Are you growing?
If you are not learning much you are not growing yourself. Take a look people around you. There will be some you admire because of their problem solving approach. So what are you waiting for? Get close to them and learn from them.
Every time you solved a problem, there is a sense of achievement as well as feeling of self growth. Keep doing your best. Never think that there is any problem without solution. There are as many solutions as human beings. It is far better to fail than never trying because:
“Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit.”
Napoleon Hill
